On June 24th, 2023, John Mills will be the keynote speaker at the 5th annual Juneteenth celebration at Riverfront Park in Portland, CT!
The event will also include Black food vendors, organizations tabling and offering activities, a treasure hunt focused on African American inventors, and a Juneteenth StoryWalk. There will be a live DJ, Mx Chalk from Middletown, who will MC the event. The event will be from 11am to 2pm.
