John Mills will be doing a virtual presentation hosted by the Connecticut Freedom Trail on August 22nd, 2023 at 12:00pm EDT.
For nearly 2 years, Mr. Mills has been researching the life of Prince Mortimer, an enslaved individual from Middletown, CT. This event will present research and context for what we can learn from the life of Prince Mortimer. It will also include updates on research into “The Man Fortune“ and members of the Connecticut 29th Colored Regiment.
