On June 3rd, 2024 from 8am to 6pm, the Connecticut League of Museums will be hosting their annual Conference. The event will be held at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT.
During the 3:30pm break-out session, members of the Connecticut Freedom Trail’s Black Narratives Committee will share the creation and current work of the committee and seek audience input toward a new project that will provide formal guidelines and best practices to present the stories of Black and Brown people at historic sites throughout the state. Panelists will offer perspectives and assess the current needs of the history community.
