Our Voice, Our Power: Black Narratives from Black Descendants

In honor of Black History Month, Discovering Amistad, in collaboration with Connecticut’s Old State House and Connecticut Freedom Trail, presents an invigorating moderated roundtable discussion. Three phenomenal Scholars will share this fascinating history and their remarkable work to reclaim and highlight Black Narratives from Black Descendants. The event will be moderated by Tammy Denease, Outreach Director for the Connecticut Freedom Trail.
